Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is about the lifeguard who senses someone struggling in the waves, extends a hand, and safely guides them to the shore to appropriate support and professional help. MHFA developed in Australia and is now international, providing formal evidence-based training in ‘extending a hand and safely guiding’ for people of all ages who may be facing mental health difficulties. I provide MHFA training to help young people - see details on the PAGE here.
Short-term psychotherapy addresses emotional and psychological issues of concern to you in a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. It gives you a chance to explore how your experiences, thoughts, and emotions influence your current life to develop practical strategies to manage stress, anxiety, depression, and other symptoms. See further details of my psychotherapy practice on the PAGE here.
